Oheka Castle
Oheka Castle is a 127-room French chateau-style mansion completed in 1919 on the highest point in Nassau County, originally built for financier Otto Hermann Kahn and now operating as a hotel, wedding venue, and event space. At 109,000 square feet, it is the second-largest private residence ever built in the United States. The estate sits on 23 acres of formal gardens in the Cold Spring Hills neighborhood of Huntington and hosts weddings, corporate galas, and private celebrations year-round.
Buses must arrive through East Gate Drive and follow the venue’s published route past Cold Spring Country Club to the back entrance, so include that access point in the group itinerary.
